At AXA Commercial, we support our business customers, large and small, by making it easy for them to do business with us in the way that suits them. Whether they insure with us via brokers, directly on the phone or online through comparison sites, we’ve got them covered. Building on our success, a key initiative for the future of AXA Commercial is the development of how we partner with our broker network. You’ll support the development of a panel of strategic brokers and facilitate a swift, co-ordinated response from key internal and external stakeholders.
This role is field-based, and you’ll travel to visit AXA offices and client sites, with regular time in London for meetings.
What you’ll be doing:
- Work with Strategic Relationship Managers on implementation of strategic broker initiatives.
- Plan and support regular reviews of broker strategic development plans, with management teams.
- Review operational, financial and trading MI (management information) to ensure strategic brokers are performing to plan.
- Identify gaps and provide recommendations of appropriate interventions.
- Maximise income and profit through MI analysis and pro-active review of initiatives.
- Contribute to planning, forecasting and management of strategic broker panel.
- Support delivery of new business, against agreed profitability and income plans, budgets and timescales.
- Facilitate successful co-ordination and delivery of sales campaigns to maximise income and profits.
- Help develop essential trading activities for strategic broker panel for new business, renewal and retention.
What you’ll bring:
- Relationship management and networking skills, in a customer facing role – essential.
- Experience or interest in MI production, trend analysis, data capture and reporting – essential.
- Previous experience working with intermediaries – preferred.
- Awareness of commercial broker business – preferred.
- Presentation skills.
- Organisation and time management skills.
- Experience using MS Excel, specifically formulas, analysis and pivot tables.
- Self-motivated – able to work both as part of a team and individually.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom. This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
