Overview

AXA Partners have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join our International Portfolio Reporting Team in Redhill. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact on our financial operations. Location: Redhill/Hybrid (3 days p/w in office). Tenure: Permanent. Hours: Full-Time.

You\’ll support the team in managing the revenue and technical accounting of approximately 300 different contracts, with a specific focus on Travel insurance products sold worldwide. Our contracts are booked in many different currencies, and some operate through reinsurance programs and fronting agreements, the accounting of which forms a major part of the role scope. AXA Partners embraces a Hybrid way of working, offering flexibility to divide time between the Redhill office and home working for up to 2 days per week as standard.

What You\’ll Be Doing

  • Monthly premium reconciliation and claims rebilling, calculation of commissions, fronting fees and profit shares.
  • Posting of relevant corrections and provisions to the PeopleSoft accounting ledger.
  • Generation of accruals and deferrals along with relevant audit lead schedules.
  • Reinsurance accounting including preparation of cession statements.
  • Produce and update management information packs to support business decision-making, liaising with stakeholders in eight distinct analytical regions worldwide.
  • Prepare and submit balance sheet and P&L accounts to the group.
  • Ensure the technical balance sheet reconciliations are accurately and regularly prepared.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and rolling forecasts.

What You\’ll Bring

  • ACCA / CIMA Finalist or qualified by experience.
  • Previous experience in insurance or technical accounting is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for problem-solving.
  • Positive attitude with a desire to progress within the organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
