About the role

As Product Governance Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring our products deliver fair value and meet regulatory standards while aligning with customer needs. You will lead the assessment and monitoring of our insurance and assistance services, championing consumer interests at every stage. Working collaboratively across teams, you will influence product design, enhance customer outcomes, and support a culture of transparency and fairness.

What you\'ll be doing

  • Lead and manage regular assessments to ensure products provide fair value and meet customer expectations.
  • Review and improve product monitoring frameworks, identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify product pain points and recommend improvements.
  • Facilitate meaningful discussions with stakeholders to foster customer‑centric product development.
  • Ensure all new and revised products follow proper approval processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain documentation demonstrating compliance with FCA standards and other regulations.
  • Design and oversee dashboards to track key customer outcome indicators.
  • Use data insights to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for positive change.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, advocating for their best interests across the organization.
  • Support regulatory change projects, transformation initiatives, and cross‑functional collaborations.
  • Manage a team, fostering high performance, development, and a culture of continuous improvement.

What you\'ll bring

  • 3‑5 years of experience in product governance, conduct risk, or a related role within financial services or insurance.
  • Strong understanding of UK regulatory frameworks, including Consumer Duty and Treating Customers Fairly.
  • Proven ability to analyse complex information and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • A customer‑first mindset, with a passion for fair outcomes and ethical practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
