We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Product Executive to join our team based in our Redhill Office on a hybrid basis. The Product Executive is responsible for the technical underwriting aspects of the product management function within the global Travel Business line.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support business development for AXA Partners in Europe for all travel products: from services to reinsurance.
  • Deliver offers and solutions that meet clients’ needs and that comply with local regulation, market practices and AXA Group governance/target profitability. Offers include product design and market analysis.
  • Support to build a culture of risk management in the Company.
  • Travel Business line Lead for product wordings and related literature.
  • Build technical wordings in accordance with Travel Underwriting standards.
  • Maintain central catalogue of Travel benefits.
  • Maintain all central IPA SA existing business and Standard documentation/template.
  • Ensure products are designed and launched in line with the Group strategic objectives, risk appetite and capabilities.
  • Establish relationships with Customer facing functions and shorten the feedback loop into technical wording improvements and underwriting best practice.
  • Build/report market insights (market trends, regulatory changes, competition).
  • Respond to claim referrals seeking Underwriting position on coverage.

Experience In What you’ll bring:

  • Policy wording interpretation.
  • Regulatory requirements.
  • Experience of operating within product governance structure.
  • Understanding of the compliance and regulatory landscape.
  • Strong collaboration/interpersonal skills, with excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to evaluate internal and external information.
  • A track record of delivering incremental product improvements.

Person Specification

  • Confidence when dealing with a wide variety of people.
  • Good understanding of customer behaviour and is comfortable with providing insight to develop business performance. Market research analysis would also be a bonus.
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing environment.
  • Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.

Desirable

  • 1-3 years’ experience in product and/or insight management within Financial Services.
  • Ability to use Adobe InDesign.
  • Fluency in other languages.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
