UK Regulatory Specialist - Projects (9 Month Fixed Term Contract)

As a future UK Regulatory Specialist - Projects, you will report to our Head of UK Project Management, and you will be part of AXA IM UK CEO Office.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional based in the UK to support key project workstreams related to the UK Legal Entity Merger with BNPP AM UK. This role is critical to achieving project milestones within an accelerated timeline. This is offered as a 9 month FTC with potential for extension (not guaranteed).
The individual will work closely with business teams to ensure the successful execution of the UK Legal Entity Merger with BNPP AM UK by the end of 2025. They will be responsible for leading workstreams within the project as directed by the UK Head of Project Managament.
Responsibilities will include supporting regulatory deliverables such as regulatory reporting, consideration of the FCA SMCR regime and the combined ICARA (Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process, as mandated by the Financial Conduct Authority).
Given the complexity of the project and the need to balance business-as-usual (BAU) activities, this role will be instrumental in ensuring that regulatory obligations are met efficiently and on time. The successful candidate will enhance team capacity and contribute significantly to the overall success of the merger initiative.

    • Familiarity with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) guidelines and expectations.
  • Consultancy Background:
    • Previous experience in a regulatory consultancy role, providing insights and guidance on compliance and risk management would be an advantage.
    • Proven ability to advise on best practices and implement solutions tailored to regulatory challenges.
  • Project Management Skills:
    • Strong project management capabilities, with experience in coordinating multiple workstreams and managing timelines.
    • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and ensure that project milestones are met.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Proficiency in regulatory reporting systems and tools, with the ability to assist in the execution of reporting tasks.
    • Strong analytical skills to interpret regulatory requirements and assess their impact on the organisation.
