Reporting to the Global Head of Marketing for Core, the role will be responsible for supporting the team on a number of projects, helping to oversee some of the day-to-day activities and managing the overall marketing budgets. The global marketing team is under resource constraints and will be facing an increasing workload as we approach the closing phase for the potential integration with another Asset Management business. Hence the requirement for a strong support in terms of business and project management.
Your role and responsibilities will include:
- Providing business and project management support to the Global head of Marketing for Core and the wider team in the deployment of any key projects as they arise.
- Supporting the roll out of the core global marketing plan for 2025 and helping the different central and local marketing teams as relevant.
- Supporting with key presentations to Core Management Committee or other governance bodies.
- Supporting with documenting processes and use of external providers for core marketing, reviewing and updating the shared drive we have in place.
- Supporting any preparation work required for the potential integration, from collating information to putting together and implementing a change program from a core marketing perspective.
- Managing the budget tracking process with the central and local marketing teams and also working closely and regularly with Finance to ensure we are aligned on reporting of actual spend.
- Working in partnership with the different marketing teams to deliver regular and ad hoc reports on marketing achievements that we can share with senior stakeholders.
- Being a proactive member of the global marketing & communications community, actively participating and sharing best practices.
Your qualifications, experience and skills:
- Previous relevant experience in a marketing department (financial services experience is preferred).
- Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to take ownership of projects, manage stakeholders' communications and deliver within budget and on timelines.
- Ability to work on multiple projects, prioritise workload effectively and cope with demanding schedules.
- Strong attention to details with the ability to maintain material/plans and presentations with updated information and data.
- Experience in documenting processes and tracking budgets.
- Ability to work independently yet as a proven team player, with the ability to develop and nurture strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive mindset with a can-do attitude and the ability to find solutions to problems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to influence and liaise with senior stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Teams.
- Ability and confidence to work in an international and fast environment.
