Overview
Front Office Oversight Coordinator (6 Months Fixed Term Contract) at AXA Investment Managers. Location: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid).
AXA IM Core – Transversal Services is seeking a Front Office Oversight Coordinator who will report to the Co-Head 1st Line Control and be part of AXA IM Core.
Responsibilities
- Be a protective 1st level Business Controls Unit/First Line of Defense for Investment & Trading activity globally, maintaining an appropriate governance and oversight model with Senior Management and Heads of Investment/Trading, and with 2nd/3rd line control functions from Compliance, Risk and Audit.
- Contribute to the development of AXA IM CORE portfolio management activities and order execution across multiple asset classes and regions.
- Contribute to transformation initiatives with AXA IM support functions, creating a robust operational environment to support daily activity, business development, and regulatory change management.
- Oversee day-to-day Investment & Trading activity oversight, design and report control indicators as the organization evolves.
- Support juniors on control topics around Investment Management & Trading activity and adherence to front office processes.
- Coordinate follow-up of Investment Guideline breach activity with Investment Guidelines / Portfolio Management teams to prevent reoccurrence.
- Support the Head of the team with management of Operational incidents in line with internal policies, ensuring remediation in coordination with Risk Management and Compliance.
- Help drive best practices and coordinate process enhancements and automation.
- Compile management information to identify and escalate control-related business risks for presentation to senior management.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of investment products, order generation, and trade execution methods to understand and follow up on associated risks.
Qualifications
- Experience within the asset management industry with an interest in portfolio management and trading.
- Accredited university degree, preferably in Finance/Economics or similar.
- Excellent English skills; strong organizational and interpersonal skills to interact with senior Front Office personnel.
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with business intelligence tools like Tableau is a plus.
- Ability to operate in a diverse, multi-cultural global context.
- Self-motivated with attention to detail and a solution-driven mindset.
