At AXA we are recruiting a Senior Internal Communications Business Partner on a 15-month FTC. Reporting to the Head of Colleague Culture and Brand you will be responsible for the development and implementation of an integrated communications and engagement strategy, with a focus on delivering transformation programmes and engagement initiatives that resonate with colleagues and support the business objectives. This role acts as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and collaborates across functions to develop and execute communications strategies that align with business goals and promote a positive workplace culture.

You'll work the majority of your week away from home. Away from home means either attendance at one of our head office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
- Strategic Communication Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive internal communication strategies that support business initiatives, change management, colleague engagement and organisational culture.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner closely with senior leaders and department heads to understand their communication needs and provide tailored messaging solutions.
- Content Development & Delivery: Create, edit, and oversee the development of internal communication materials including scripts, intranet content, executive messages, townhalls, events and internal campaigns.
- Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, promote transparency across the business, and support our role in society.
- Change Management Support: Managing, delivering and measuring the effectiveness of change communications to ensure clarity and understanding.
- Measurement & Analysis: Set measurable key performance indicators and regularly report on the effectiveness of internal communications messages and channels making recommendations to review and amend the strategy as appropriate.
- Crisis Communication: Assist in managing internal messaging during crises or sensitive situations to maintain trust and credibility.
BA/BSC Degree in a related discipline is essential with Communications, Business or Human Resources being desirable. 5/6+ years communications experience In-house internal communications experience in a complex organisation with geographically dispersed colleagues. Significant experience managing, delivering and measuring change communication. Experience of successfully managing complex projects, involving multiple stakeholders, from start to finish. Strong attention to detail, editing and proofreading skills. Excellent writer, storyteller and presenter. Able to coordinate, take the initiative and stay focused on the outcomes. Experience of working in a highly regulated environment an advantage.
