AXA Ireland are hiring a Trading Underwriter Commercial to join our NI Team based in our Belfast office. In this role you will be working as part of the Commercial team to deliver sales support, best in class customer service to our Broker Partners and act as a key contributor to AXA Ireland's Commercial objectives. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
What you'll be doing:
- Handling new business submissions & renewals in line with agreed processes and risk appetite.
- Handling technical referrals from broker partners, claims teams and other areas of the business.
- Maximise revenue generation through delivery of rate carry optimising sales and retention opportunities.
- Identify new commercial insurance opportunities.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering a high level of customer service and adhere to the units agreed service standards.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in an underwriting or sales role, with an interest in developing a strong knowledge of Commercial Products and Underwriting criteria.
