At AXA Health, weâre looking for talented Sales Consultants to join our highly successful sales team in Bournemouth. As a Sales Consultant, youâll be contacting customers who have enquired directly with AXA Health online into Private Healthcare Insurance. Youâll listen to our customersâ needs and provide suitable cover options offering tailored solutions. As part of this role, youâll be comfortable having sensitive conversations and taking an empathetic approach youâll translate factual and sometimes complex information in a simple way, converting these enquiries into sales through building rapport and listening.
After your initial office based training period of 12 weeks, you\’ll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
Working Hours & Shift Pattern: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 9am and 6pm with an early finish of 2.30pm on Fridays, no evenings or weekend.

Induction & Training:
Induction Date: 4th August 2025
When you join us, youâll be given extensive training on our products and tools to ensure you have the knowledge and skills to succeed. Training starts with a three-week programme and after this youâll join one of our 5 sales teams where youâll receive one-to-one coaching sessions, role play and live listening. Our sessions will help to motivate and inspire you as well as support you with your sales techniques.

What youâll bring:
- Experience in a customer facing role is essential.
- Ability to connect with a variety of people over the phone and via email, translating complex information in a simple way whilst following a call guide.

- It would be advantageous to have experience in a telephone-based role and/ or within an FCA regulated environment.
When applying to this role, we\’ll ask you to complete several screening questions. Please ensure you answer these, as they form part of our shortlisting process. Following this, the first stage of the interview process is completion of an Arctic Shores Assessment. This is an online, behaviour-based assessment that doesn\’t contain any questions. Instead, it\’s a series of engaging, intuitive tasks. As you respond to each task, we can paint an accurate picture of your natural strengths. You\’ll have two days to complete the assessment. The next and final stage, if shortlisted, is that we will invite you to attend an interview which will take place from 16th until 27th June in our Bournemouth office.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
