Job overview
You’ll define, develop and implement business to business (B2B) marketing campaigns and communications. These will target intermediaries with an individual and SME focus and support acquisition, business development and retention of their services with AXA Health. You’ll organise and attend trade and industry events including British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) and Association of Medical Insurers and Intermediaries (amii).
Key responsibilities
- Manage annual planning and development of channel and audience communications, content, materials and events that effectively position AXA Health’s brand, services and strategic direction.
- Develop, manage and deliver campaign activity and events aligned to strategic priorities and targets.
- Exploit developments and initiatives such as proposition launches.
- Gain a deep understanding of market, competitor and customer needs and how AXA Health's products and services can meet these.
- Use this to inform strategy, plans and activities.
- Confidently manage client and partner channel requirements.
- Use this to ensure effective launch of services, development of audience strategies and deeper engagement with services.
- Use reporting to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of plans and activity, supporting continuous improvement and efficient deployment of investment and resource.
- Establish excellent relationships with a wide range of colleagues to ensure effective delivery of plans.
- Ensure all processes and activities meet regulatory and compliance requirements, business continuity and financial integrity.
- Monitor and manage adherence.
- Deliver plans and activity effectively and within allocated budgets.
Work arrangements
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending our Tunbridge Wells office, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
Your skills & experience
- Experience in a similar B2B role within insurance, broking or financial services is essential.
- Private medical insurance experience is preferred.
- Demonstratable experience of marketing strategy and planning, communications, campaign and event management is required.
- Content management and development including e‑marketing, web, social, webinars, whitepapers and sales collateral.
- Channel audience and market expertise.
- Outstanding stakeholder management, influencing and networking skills.
- Commercial and strategic awareness with an understanding of the corporate business environment.
- Excellent organisation and project management skills, with proven ability of taking ownership and keeping key stakeholders updated.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom. This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre‑employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
