AXA Health is investing to transform and deliver new digital services to customers in the UK&I. We’re seeking an experienced Lead Salesforce Test Engineer to join our Engineering team to help deliver the digital roadmap, develop people and capabilities, and support the Engineering strategy to drive improvements across teams. This is in a product-led operating model focused on developing our Single Digital Platform based on Salesforce, with a significant .NET estate, Azure services, and React frontend applications.
As a Lead Salesforce Test Engineer, you will learn about recent technology trends, influence the organisation to make the right choices, and contribute to a collaborative, continually improving environment where teams strive for common goals.
AXA supports flexible working arrangements; you’ll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home now, moving to three days (60%) in the future. Away from home includes attending an office, visiting clients, or industry events. Flexible arrangements can be discussed with Talent Acquisition.
What you’ll be doing:
- Act as a line manager, supervising and guiding a team of test engineers.
- Share best practices in manual test execution and exploratory testing in complex end-to-end environments on our Salesforce Platform.
- Oversee testing activities within a team responsible for frequent code deployments and delivery of business value to production environments.
- Be hands-on and uplift existing capabilities, with a focus on test automation.
- Lead the technical design, implementation and maintenance of test automation projects within a CI/CD environment.
What you’ll bring:
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce testing, including leadership or senior SDET roles.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Expertise using test automation frameworks and tools to design and implement test automation suites.
- Experience with Provar or Copado Robotics Testing (CRT) is advantageous.
- Experience with load testing and evidence/reporting of results.
- Extensive experience in manual testing methods; automation is crucial but strong manual testing remains important.
- Proven experience implementing process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
