We have an exciting new opportunity for a Salesforce Engineer to join our friendly and supportive IT delivery teams at AXA Health, to help us make our goals a reality. You’ll be working alongside colleagues in the Care and Claims programme, using a diverse range of technologies and helping to implement new solutions and optimise existing systems.

At AXA, we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team, and our customers. You\’ll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients, or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you\’ll be doing:

  • Contributing to the design, development, and support of our strategic customer platform, employing best practice in architecture, design, development, and deployment
  • Working within an agile team, adhering to Scrum or Kanban principles
  • Collaborating and communicating with business colleagues and stakeholders to identify and enhance appropriate solutions
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the team and across the IT department, identifying areas of inefficiency and demonstrating or facilitating change
  • Supporting delivery objectives, lifecycle management, and technical debt

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven development experience with Salesforce; Certified Salesforce Platform Developer 1 desirable, with skills in Apex, Triggers, Lightning, Lightning Web Components, and configuration and process automation such as Flows and Process Builder
  • Experience of Salesforce Industries / Omnistudio / VLocity highly desirable
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications via real-time, batch, sync/async methods
  • Knowledge of the complete Software Development Lifecycle including Release Management, Testing, and Deployment
  • Proficiency with SFDX for development and automation, GIT version control
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Health Cloud, and Copado highly desirable
