Job overview: You're a HR generalist who has experience in end-to-end project delivery looking for your next 6 month contract. As a Project Consultant you will facilitate the successful delivery of projects that support and drive transformation set out in strategic people plans. Working closely with the Strategic People Partners and stakeholders, you'll conduct research, collect and analyse data to identify issues, provide advice, and work with the team to develop and implement innovative and pragmatic solutions. You'll use your experience of project management and data insights to solve business problems that have measurable impact and add commercial value.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders including Strategic People Partners, Transformation Lead, and other key stakeholders to scope, manage, and oversee project delivery.
- Establish and maintain effective project controls and procedures.
- Communicate progress, milestones, and blockers regularly to ensure stakeholder engagement.
- Prepare reports, business cases, and presentations to support decision‐making.
- Deliver change communication and training to ensure consistent messaging.
- Provide expert advice on People policies, processes, and project compliance.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and develop strategies for improvement.
- Support continuous improvement and add value through innovative People projects.
Work arrangements:
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. There is a requirement to travel to London 2 times per month for collaboration. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

Your skills & experience:
- Excellent knowledge and working experience of organisation design.
- Familiar with project management methodologies, prioritising and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong confidence with data, ability to conduct data analyses, recognise trends, tie those back to business priorities, and develop recommendations.
- Effective stakeholder management skills, excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills essential.
- Well organised, pragmatic and calm in time pressured situations.
- Ability to influence managers at a senior level and employees at all levels.
- Able to work in sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality.
- Up to date knowledge of employee legislation and its implications for the business experience.
- Experience managing change/ transformation projects.
