Job Overview
We're recruiting an IT Project Manager to manage projects within our Change and Delivery Transversal Portfolio. You'll use disciplined programme and project management methodology and industry experience that ensures best practice and compliance to the UK project delivery framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountability for the delivery of assigned projects to agreed criteria to optimal time, cost, scope and quality, utilising appropriate and agreed project methodology.
- Managing third parties and suppliers to meet all project goals within agreed costs, time and quality criteria.
- Identify, assess and manage risks to the success of the project.
- Escalate risks, conflicts and provide proposals to effectively address them.
- Providing effective leadership to the project team, shaping the team, motivating team members to achieve their project objectives and develop their skills and experience.
- Effectively estimating costs, timescales and resource requirements, securing resources and building realistic plans for the successful delivery of the project(s) to the agreed scope and budget.
- Manage, influence and motivate all stakeholders and sponsors to ensure full understanding, commitment and engagement to the project goals.
Work Arrangements
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
Your Skills & Experience
- Solid understanding of project management principles, methods, techniques, tools and project lifecycles (Waterfall/agile).
- Experience managing Tech/Data and AI projects in financial services would be beneficial.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build successful relationships with internal and external customers.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams in delivering results.
- Experience managing relationships with third parties.
- Strong decision making.
- Association of Project Management (APM) qualification desirable.
