Job Overview

Here at AXA Global Healthcare, we’ve an exciting opportunity for a Client Relationship Account Manager. In this role you’ll drive the retention of SME International Business through an assigned portfolio of Intermediaries and Group Secretaries, building relationships, retaining business, and helping to generate new sales. If you’ve strong relationship skills within a sales/account management setting as well as the drive to achieve great results, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage renewals by contacting groups ahead of time, identifying cross-sell/upsell opportunities, and providing comprehensive information to ensure client retention.
  • Oversee portfolio and intermediary relationships, actively encouraging growth within the broker book.
  • Stay informed about team process updates, international product changes, protocols, and competitor developments; share relevant information with brokers and internal departments.
  • Collaborate proactively with internal teams such as Marketing, Global Client Services, Commercial, and Underwriting to ensure a seamless customer experience and unified approach.
  • Contribute to monthly team reports by documenting wins, tracking conversion rates, outstanding quotes, progress against targets, and regional insights via Salesforce.
  • Keep up to date with changes in international product offerings, benefit revisions, rule updates, and new protocols like eligibility criteria.
  • Support team members during absences and assist with business needs as required.
  • Handle broker communications via phone, email, or written correspondence in accordance with FCA guidelines, including TCF principles.

Work Arrangements

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office in Tunbridge Wells or Leicester, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

Your Skills & Experience

  • In-depth understanding of the International PMI market is preferred.
  • Proven experience in account management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health insurance products offered by AXA and other providers in the marketplace.
  • Customer-centric approach with excellent questioning, listening, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Effective influencing and negotiation abilities.
  • Energetic, motivated, and focused with a proactive attitude.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, especially with internal teams.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of systems, processes, and protocols.
  • Appreciation and understanding of administrative support functions.
