What you’ll be doing: Are you eager to contribute to risk management in a global and regulated environment? AXA Partners is seeking a Risk and Internal Control Analyst to join our team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct second-line testing of internal controls to ensure they are effective and compliant with group standards.
- Support the documentation, communication, and follow-up of test results with relevant stakeholders.
- Assist with the annual assessment of operational risks and promote escalation procedures.
- Identify, investigate, and report operational incidents, tracking their resolution and corrective actions.
- Maintain and monitor internal control actions and the issue log, escalating deadlines as needed.
- Regularly prepare reports on control effectiveness for senior management.
- Train first-line control owners in the use of SCALA, the internal control reporting system.
- Manage the daily administration of SCALA, including user management, data quality, and troubleshooting.
- Contribute to system improvements and support the global internal control community.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, mathematics, risk management or a related field.
- Up to 2 or 3 years of experience, ideally in control, audit, or risk management roles within insurance, assistance, or financial services.
- Strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel (essential); familiarity with Power BI or similar tools is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Collaborative, adaptable, resilient, and professional.
- Fluency in English; French language skills are desirable.
