Job overview: Are you passionate about supporting the successful launch of new products and product changes? Do you excel in supporting cross-functional projects and working closely with stakeholders? We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Product Development Executive to join our team at AXA Retail. As a Product Development Executive, you’ll play a key role in supporting the development and enhancement of our home and motor insurance products. Your focus will be on coordinating change activities, defining requirements, facilitating testing processes and ensuring all product updates are delivered efficiently, accurately and in compliance with governance standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the Retail Intermediary teams with managing change requests for product updates and new product builds.
- Ensure all change requirements are clearly understood, documented and specifications are updated accordingly.
- Maintain up-to-date change logs and documentation in line with governance processes.
- Facilitate workshops to define requirements for complex changes and new deals, engaging internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in planning, refinement sessions, stand‑ups and retrospectives to monitor progress.
- Support business sign‑off and conduct testing, including external system testing, to ensure quality delivery.
- Oversee testing activities to ensure they meet agreed processes, timescales and quality standards, maintaining thorough records.
- Continuously review and improve change and testing processes to enhance efficiency and confidence in outcomes.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You’ll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.
