You’ll provide expertise and advice to the business across all aspects of procurement activity and engagement whilst bringing detailed information back to the Procurement team around business strategies and objectives. Your communication and collaboration with the business helps build procurement’s reputation as a trusted, expert partner. Building deep relationships with key stakeholders to drive robust engagement plans is key. Creating regular touchpoints and processes that ensure early visibility of procurement demands from the business and provide the ability for the category teams to engage early on sourcing strategy and approaches is fundamental to the success of the role.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a repeatable demand planning process, capturing all change, BAU, and renewal demands for current and upcoming financial years.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand needs and strategic goals, fostering procurement collaboration.
- Create stakeholder engagement plans to align business and procurement processes with mutual representation.
- Facilitate insights from Category Teams on market trends, sourcing opportunities, and innovative procurement solutions.
- Track, report, and analyse procurement KPIs and metrics to inform business performance and identify improvement areas.
- Drive continuous improvement through data-driven challenge and alignment with external and Group best practices.
- Act as the main contact for devolved procurement, providing guidance, reporting, and activity oversight.
Work arrangements
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You’ll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.
