b Overview /b p In this role you will support the US Casualty pricing for AXA XL’s International Reinsurance unit. You will lead pricing support, mentor junior actuaries, and develop pricing methodologies aligned with global standards, while calibrating pricing tools and ensuring governance. You’ll collaborate with underwriting and cross-region teams to drive profitability and pricing reliability. The position offers exposure to senior leadership from the start and opportunities to work on cross-regional initiatives within a $1.5bn premium region. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Flexible working arrangements /li li Enhanced family-friendly leave /li li Diversity and inclusion programs /li li Volunteering and charitable giving /li li Global Benefit programs /li li Competitive rewards /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead pricing support to the US Casualty underwriting team, conduct deal pricing/reviews and participate in underwriting committees /li li Manage a team of junior actuaries /li li Develop pricing methodologies aligned to global strategies, including parameters/assumptions, impact analysis, and advanced pricing techniques /li li Lead development, testing and calibration of pricing tools; maintain pricing documentation and governance /li li Collaborate with Pricing Analytics team to ensure consistency across products and regions (US and Europe) /li li Utilise analytics/MI to drive superior business performance and provide decision support during underwriting /li li Gather underwriting data and analytics needs to improve pricing reliability and process efficiency /li li Evaluate profitability of key businesses for portfolio management, strategy development, and management concerns /li li Train underwriters and junior actuaries in pricing approaches /li li Ensure compliance with global pricing guidelines and consistency across International Re /li li Contribute to quarterly reserving and annual capital model parameterisation where appropriate /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Qualified actuary - FIA, FCAS, FIAA, FSAI with post-qualification experience /li li Relevant experience within the non-life insurance industry; reinsurance or commercial insurance backgrounds welcomed /li li Pricing experience is essential /li li Strong ability to acquire technical knowledge and adapt quickly /li li Excellent communication skills to build relationships and translate actuarial concepts to stakeholders /li /ul ul li Communication skills /li li Ability to work under pressure /li li Cross-geography collaboration /li li Pricing methodologies development /li li Pricing tool development and calibration /li li Analytics/MI for decision support /li /ul
