By ensuring close alignment between customer needs, our Premier Partners, and AXA’s strategic goals, you’ll play a vital part in shaping our growth trajectory and reinforcing our commitment to excellence.
Key responsibilities:
- Maximise income and profit for AXA’s Premier Partner broker panel by implementing strategic initiatives such as new deals and broker campaigns.
- Support planning, forecasting, and financial management of the broker panel, contributing to the overall financial planning cycle.
- Develop and review distribution strategies and partner development plans, ensuring alignment with senior management through regular performance reviews.
- Lead and coordinate key trading activities, including new business pipelines, renewal retention, large renewal strategies, and profit review actions.
- Manage day-to-day operational requirements such as agency management, financial reporting, legal agreements, and marketing support.
- Drive the design and delivery of tailored propositions aligned with segment needs, collaborating with underwriting, distribution, and regional teams.
- Foster strong relationships between Premier Partner brokers and AXA’s business and trading areas to support mutual growth.
- Analyse broker performance and market opportunities to identify further growth initiatives and implement strategic business improvements.
Work arrangements: At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. Your skills & experience:
- Possess or be working towards an ACII qualification or equivalent, with a degree or equivalent educational background.
- Demonstrate a highly motivated, self-driven attitude with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
- Have a strong understanding of underwriting, risk management principles, and the commercial intermediary market.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships from intermediary levels up to CEO level.
- Possess strategic management capabilities and a high level of understanding of business profitability factors within the broker channel.
- Demonstrate advanced sales, negotiation, and data analysis skills to inform business planning and growth strategies.
- Have proven success in profitable business development and experience in relationship management at MD level or equivalent.
- Be adept at interpreting data to adjust business plans and optimise profitability within the broker and intermediary channels.
