Job Overview: You’ll be responsible for shaping and maintaining high quality, robust cancer related proposition components across our health insurance portfolio. You’ll ensure cancer propositions are evidence based, outcomes focused and aligning to evolving cancer care. While primarily focused on cancer, you’ll collaborate and cross cover other domains, particularly in complex pathways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead domain expertise for our end-to-end cancer proposition, including benefit design, pathways and services.
- Shape, design and implement high value, sustainable propositions aligned with emerging care models and treatments supported by financial business cases.
- Work with segment teams to adapt cancer propositions to different markets.
- Work closely with Marketing teams to craft go-to-market strategies and approaches.
- Partner with providers and AXA colleagues to ensure safe design and delivery of services, including identifying risks and assessing outcomes.
- Consistently develop and review customer, clinical, and business key performance indicators (KPIs) against plan to provide further feedback loops into new proposition development.
- Work collaboratively with Governance and Implementation to ensure any launches or modifications to propositions are delivered in line with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and monitor product performance, value, and outcomes, identifying risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Produce and consume insights into client feedback and market trends.
- Work collaboratively with Strategy & Insights to produce clear performance reporting and insight for senior stakeholders.
Work Arrangements: At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
Your Skills & Experience:
- Demonstratable understanding of healthcare and insurance is required.
- Exposure to claims, healthcare delivery or customer operations is desirable.
- Analytical and service proposition design capability.
- Risk management skills - ability to proactively manage risk management frameworks to appraise and mitigate financial, non‑financial and clinical risk.
- Outstanding stakeholder management, influencing skills and presentation skills.
- Project management skills with demonstrable experience of go-to-market plans that deliver propositions on time and in control.
- Ability to overcome ambiguity and conflicting objectives.
- Curiosity for innovation in healthcare and best practice proposition development methodology.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom. This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre‑employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
