AXA IM Prime is the private assets one-stop platform of AXA IM, offering investments across private equity, infrastructure equity, private debt and hedge funds.

As an intern within the Private Debt team, you will support and assist in analysing potential investments opportunities (market analysis, due diligence support, financial modelling, valuation), as well as contributing to asset portfolio monitoring. Subject to deal flow, you will also have the opportunity to take part in meetings with origination partners and investors.

  • Contribute to analysis of credit opportunities including review of information material and due diligence reports, and assess associated credit merits and key risks
  • Preparation of comprehensive financial modelling (cash flow models and debt structures) together with sensitivity analysis and business valuation/debt coverage
  • Assess appropriate debt structures and terms, including review of term sheets and credit term agreements
  • Participate to the preparation of credit memos
  • Contribute to the execution and closing of an investment, working closely with internal and external parties as appropriate
  • Closely monitoring the financial performance of investments made and perform an adequate reporting and quarterly valuations on these
  • Contribute to producing regular reporting documents for internal counterparties and external clients
  • Maintain relationships with origination partners, management team of portfolio companies, sponsors, advisors and law firms

Your Profile:

  • Final year of Master’s degree in Economics degree or Engineering (with applied finance) or Master’s degree in Corporate finance
  • Duration: 6 to 12 month internship
  • Start date: June/September 2025
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English is required and mandatory
  • Fluency in German is a plus
  • A first experience in Leveraged Finance, DCM, M&A, Private Equity, Private Debt, or Debt Advisory with a focus on corporates (ideally mid-cap corporates/transactions) is required and mandatory.
  • Knowledge of credit/risk, financial analysis, cash-flow modelling and debt instruments
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint
