Are you a brilliant storyteller and content creator looking for a creative, varied and fast-paced communications role?
As a Content and Channels Specialist, you’ll be part networker and journalist, part content creator and part channel owner.
You’ll seek out the people and stories that brining AXA UK&I to life, turning them into brilliant written, visual and multimedia content that colleagues want to engage with.
You’ll create and publish content across our digital and offline channels, using everything from video and visual storytelling to AI-enabled tools to find bolder, more daring ways to communicate.
You’ll also play a hands-on role in some of our biggest colleague campaigns and events, as well as helping us develop and improve our channels.
Working with leaders and colleagues across AXA UK&I and regularly getting out across the business to meet them you’ll help us create communications that feel fresh, relevant and unmistakenly AXA.
Key responsibilities
- Create brilliant, engaging content across a range of formats from colleague stories and leader communications to video, presentations, digital and visual content.
- Seek out and develop great stories from across AXA UK&I, building a strong network of colleagues and contacts across the business to uncover what’s happening and bring our story to life.
- Create and deliver content for major campaigns, colleague events and meetings, working with the wider team to turn ideas and priorities into engaging communications and events.
- Publish, manage and continually improve our internal communication channels, using great content, design and digital and AI-enabled tools to create the best possible colleague experience.
- Experiment with new formats, tools and creative approaches, finding bolder and more effective ways to reach and engage colleagues.
- Make sure everything we create is clear, accessible, timely and audience-led, while reflecting AXA’s tone of voice, visual identity and editorial standards.
- Bring ideas, insight and best practice into the team, helping us continually raise the quality and impact of our internal communications.
- Work arrangements
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers.
You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) from December 2026.
Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.
You’ll frequently spend time in our London office and be comfortable with travelling to other AXA offices.
- Your skills & experience
- Strong experience creating engaging internal communications content and managing digital channels, with a great instinct for what will connect with different audiences is essential.
- Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to find the story and turn complex information into clear, compelling content.
- Strong multimedia skills, including planning, capturing and editing high-quality photography and video content for digital channels.
- A great visual eye and good graphic design skills, with the ability to create engaging, brand-aligned content across different format.
- Confident using AI and emerging technology to support research, ideas, design and content creation, and find smarter ways of producing and delivering communications.
- Experience creating content and communications for campaigns, large colleague meetings and events, from initial ideas through to delivery with minimal supervision.
- Highly organised and comfortable working at pace, juggling multiple priorities while maintaining great attention to detail and a consistently high standard.
- A natural collaborator, able to build strong relationships, establish strong networks and work brilliantly with colleagues, stakeholders and other communications specialists to deliver great comms and bring fresh ideas into the team.
