Join our dynamic team as an Insights Analyst, where you’ll play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our business and Insights teams. As Commercial Lines embarks on implementing new strategies and transformation programmes, you’ll navigate the complexities introduced by inflation, economic uncertainty, and evolving accounting standards. Your expertise in claims data analysis will provide timely and detailed insights, empowering our stakeholders to make informed business decisions in an ever-changing landscape.

Key responsibilities

  • Enhance collaboration between insights, planning, pricing, and finance teams by providing analytical support.
  • Assist in developing strategic plans by analysing claims performance and loss ratios based on emerging trends.
  • Help the finance team forecast future performance by reviewing premium, claims, and loss ratio trends, and explaining the factors influencing these trends.
  • Use market data to inform long‑term projections and contribute to annual strategic planning.
  • Develop a model to update business profitability monthly by analysing emerging data trends.
  • Contribute to building and delivering a platform for early warning indicators that identify trends in claims KPIs.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders in Finance, Claims, Underwriting, Actuarial, Pricing, and Reinsurance, ensuring accurate information is shared in the reserving process.
  • Support the strategic goals of the Commercial Lines business by delivering automated Power BI reports and self‑service dashboards on claims performance.

Work arrangements

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
