Job overview: Part of the Insight and Analytics team, which forms part of AXA Health’s Marketing department, you’ll be responsible for delivering data-driven insights and competitive intelligence to support strategic decision-making. You’ll gather, analyse and interpret internal data, as well as market and competitor information, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You’ll provide colleagues with clear, strategic intelligence that informs key outcomes and initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Present insights clearly, translating complex data into strategic recommendations and business implications.
- Gather and review market trends, competitor activity and competitive positioning.
- Support design and delivery of insight studies, ensuring data integrity and relevance to business questions.
- Stay up to date on AI (artificial intelligence) and data analysis techniques, exploring how they can enhance analysis responsibly.
- Assist with creation and management of ad hoc surveys and ongoing research initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver insights and analysis on time, ensuring findings are tailored and impactful.
- Use SQL within Databricks, generating actionable insights to inform business strategy.
- Analyse data, create compelling reports and visualise findings.
Work arrangements: At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending our Tunbridge Wells office, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
Your skills & experience:
- Ability to use SQL within Databricks to extract and manipulate large datasets.
- Experience of using Microsoft Excel to manipulate data.
- Numerate, with either relevant degree in marketing, data science, business strategy or relevant workplace experience.
- Highly analytical with the ability to turn data into insight.
- Demonstrable PowerPoint skills. Able to create reports and provide business recommendations.
- Primary research skills, including qualitative and quantitative would be beneficial.
- Curious with a growth mindset, willing to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
