As the Head of Excess Casualty - Bermuda, you will embody these values, lead the AXA XL Bermuda Excess Casualty Underwriting unit, and be responsible for developing and executing on the strategy for this product, while working with the region’s other underwriting business leaders and partners, and our Global Underwriting Office. This role has full P cascade/rescind Underwriting authority as needed throughout the product team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing on business financial and operational plans.
  • Supporting the development of and execution on a strategy to meet the needs of clients of all segments of the Bermuda market.
  • Leading and promoting a collaborative, diverse and inclusive working environment.
  • Embodying the AXA XL culture and acting as a role model for all colleagues, irrespective of organizational alignment.
  • Applying an understanding of worldwide risk exposures leading to refined terms.
