Job overview

Reporting to the Digital Pricing Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering the Commercial Lines transformation, building next-generation digital pricing capability, and owning pricing governance for Property, Casualty and Motor auto-rated products across direct and open market. This role partners with Pricing, Underwriting, IT Change & Operations. You'll be accountable for building and deploying pricing models, product performance analytics, rating structure design and governance.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver the Commercial Lines pricing transformation, delivering next-gen pricing capabilities on platforms, data and modelling systems.
  • Develop and own robust pricing and underwriting reviews for profitable development of Property, Casualty and Motor auto-rated products across open market and direct.
  • Produce regular Product Performance reports such as GWP, New Business, Conversion, Retention, Loss Ratio, COR with insights, trends and actionable recommendations.
  • Present recommendations to key stakeholders for sign off.
  • Maintain governance documentation for rate tables, rate structures, algorithms and price changes; ensure proper approvals and auditability.
  • Analyse complex product data to adapt strategies to changing market conditions, translating insights into clear, actionable recommendations for key stakeholders.

Work arrangements

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.

Your skills & experience

  • Strong numeracy and quantitative skills, along with proficient in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Graduate calibre, preferably with specific education in mathematics/statistics or a business-related subject or qualified by virtue of work experience.
  • Insurance industry experience with small commercial Property, Casualty and Motor products.
  • Knowledge of Pricing processes. Radar/Emblem knowledge advantageous.
  • Proficiency in SAS, Power BI, and PowerPoint; excellent data manipulation and reporting skills.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, influencing and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Track record of delivering change and driving results.
