Job overview
AXA Global Healthcare (AGH) are looking for a Corporate Account Manager to proactively manage, retain and develop a portfolio of Global Corporate Clients to contribute to the growth of our business and that of our insurance partners. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal role in understanding client needs, developing tailored solutions, and ensuring the successful delivery of our products and services.
Key responsibilities
- Cultivate positive, valuable business-to-business relationships to achieve retention targets and negotiate renewals that benefit clients, AGH, and insurance partners.
- Build and maintain strong multi-contact relationships with corporate clients, internal experts at AGH, and intermediaries to maximize retention and identify opportunities for additional products and services.
- Develop collaborative working relationships across departments such as Sales, Marketing (including mentoring/buddying), Customer Service, Commercial, Provider Management, and Finance, aligning activities with strategic and operational priorities.
- Share ongoing feedback from customers, intermediaries, and the market with team members and the wider organization to influence and improve proposition development.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of AGH’s products, partner offerings, and competitive landscape, staying informed about trends within the corporate employee benefits and healthcare sectors to provide proactive client advice.
- Proactively inform clients about legislative requirements and compliant local solutions to ensure adherence and best practice.
- Influence and drive cross-team activities to ensure a consistent, collaborative approach in delivering client solutions and achieving business goals.
- Stay updated on marketplace developments and leverage insights to enhance client consultations and strategic decision-making.
Work arrangements
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.
Your skills & experience
- Demonstrated success in managing and developing International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI) accounts within a consultative, service-oriented sales environment, with experience working across UK and European markets.
- Strong commercial and strategic acumen, complemented by a solid understanding of the corporate business landscape and international client needs.
- In-depth knowledge of a broad range of health insurance products offered by AGH, as well as those available in the wider marketplace.
- Proven ability to build and maintain robust relationships with internal teams, clients, intermediaries, professional bodies, and healthcare professionals, leveraging extensive network management skills.
- Customer-centric approach with excellent questioning, listening, and communication skills, including strong presentation abilities both verbally and in writing.
- Effective influencing and negotiation skills, with a track record of securing successful outcomes in complex discussions.
- Broad international private medical insurance experience, with familiarity working within the insurance and healthcare sectors or with their partners in corporate sales, brokerage, or from a competitor insurer.
- Experience managing UK and European clients, with some travel required to meet clients face-to-face across different regions.
