If you are looking for a new challenge, this role as an Insurance Representative based in our Coleraine Branch Office for a 12-month contract, with full training provided could be just what you are looking for. We’re looking for positive customer service professionals - some previous experience would be great, but more important will be your passion for customer service, natural talent for connecting with people, quick problem‑solving ability as well as great communication and computer skills.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll spend your time in our Coleraine Branch Office, engaging with our customers face to face and over the telephone.
  • Promoting branch profitability and community presence to achieve business targets.
  • Provide a professional, sales‑driven face‑to‑face customer service to attract and retain clients.
  • Maximise customer engagement through in‑branch visits, phone, and outbound activities.
  • Optimise cross‑selling and upselling opportunities to add value to every customer interaction.
  • Encourage self‑service and a customer‑first approach, reducing non‑value activities.
  • Leverage local relationships via various engagement channels, including MS Teams, phone, and visits.
  • Build trusted relationships through community and affinity engagement to support branch growth.
  • Prioritise workloads effectively to meet product‑specific and overall objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legislative, and internal policies.
  • Manage cash handling and expenses in line with procedures.
  • Participate in cross‑departmental projects as needed.
  • Analyse local market data to identify trends and suggest improvements.

Induction & Training:

You’ll receive a comprehensive induction and benefit from a structured training programme with one of our specialist Trainers, which will be a blended delivery in branch, one of our main office locations, and from home. We will give you all the training and support you need to become a confident and skilled Representative, including continual development of your technical knowledge and interpersonal skills. Training is 4 weeks full time, and all IT & office kit will be provided enabling you to mix home and office based training.

Salary:

A competitive base salary with the opportunity to earn a performance related bonus. Plus exam related salary increases, generous pension contribution, staff discount on motor & home insurance, generous holidays, wellbeing initiatives for you and your family and more.

Working Hours:

Full time, 37.5 hours per week onsite in our Coleraine Branch Office, working within our business hours of Monday to Friday.

About You/What you will need:

Minimum essential requirement of 5 pass GCSE’S (including Maths & English), and at least 6 months experience in a customer service role. If you have strong customer service skills, dealing with customers face to face, an enthusiastic telephone manner and are comfortable negotiating and selling, then this is a great opportunity for you with a company operating throughout Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland. A third level qualification is desirable, as well as a Certificate of Insurance would be beneficial but not a requirement.
