We have an opportunity for a Change Practitioner to join our team in AXA Health on a 6-month fixed term contract. You’ll be responsible for formulating, scoping, and delivering business readiness activities that ensure the successful adoption of change initiatives. Your expertise will be pivotal in maximising the benefits of strategic business changes whilst enhancing both customer and employee experiences. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You’ll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

Working hours: hrs per week Monday – Friday.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Accountable for the business change plan and organising change activities across multiple programmes within AXA Health.
  • Establish a comprehensive business change approach and framework, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle for successful delivery.
  • Oversee thorough change management assessments to evaluate impacts on business processes, structures, and employee adoption.
  • Develop strategies to enhance employee engagement and adoption of changes, leveraging best practices in change management to foster an adaptive mindset amongst teams.
  • Communicate with Senior leadership to design, plan, communicate, and execute necessary organisational changes effectively.
  • Partner with the business to ensure changes are implemented with minimal disruption to daily operations, providing coaching to departmental managers for effective change adoption.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in supporting end-to-end transformation processes.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in conducting change impact analysis assessment, culture change techniques, stakeholder mapping, and developing the case for change.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies, including both Waterfall and Agile.
  • Strong ability to collaborate across functions, ensuring successful business outcomes and thorough end-to-end testing of change initiatives.
  • Ability to think strategically, challenging the status quo to ensure benefit realisation is achieved effectively.
  • Proven ability in delivering end-user training on implemented changes.
  • Excellent influencing, facilitation, coaching, and mentoring abilities.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
