Job overview: Join as a Data and Systems Transformation Manager within our Property, Procurement and Operations (PP&O) team and play a pivotal role in shaping decisions on data optimisation and systems performance. You’ll lead on strategic initiatives and change projects that deliver meaningful financial benefit and efficiencies, through the implementation of innovative technological solutions harnessing digitalisation and artificial intelligence (AI) tools.

Key responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the PP&O data and systems roadmap, with responsibility for the delivery of initiatives which align with overarching strategic objectives and optimise the team’s operational and financial decision‑making capabilities.
  • Establish data governance processes that enhance data quality, completeness and integrity, supporting responsible AI use.
  • Improve existing systems / platforms performance (PowerBI, Coupa, Concur, etc.) with AI‑enabled features and automation tools.
  • Embed a continuous development approach allowing for the enhancement of Group‑mandated tools along with effective systems integration, to ensure seamless data flows across platforms, enabling real‑time insights.
  • Enhance business decision‑making to deliver strategic priorities through the design and leveraging of financial management information (MI) reporting functionalities and empower colleagues to self‑serve their own insights.
  • Support in the delivery of change activities such as training, communication plans, and impact assessments to support smooth implementation.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships within PP&O, wider business units and third‑party suppliers, demonstrating a customer‑focused approach and understanding internal and external stakeholder needs.

Work arrangements:

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

Your skills & experience:

  • Extensive experience in Finance, Procurement or Operations within a commercial environment, supporting change programmes.
  • Strong technical knowledge with an understanding of how data optimisation and systems performance can aid financial and business decision‑making.
  • Proven ability to work within large, federated organisations using matrix management and agile principles.
  • Excellent communicator, skilled in building stakeholder relationships and influencing decision‑makers.
  • Solid understanding of change management methodologies and fostering collaborative implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive standards, challenge processes, and recommend improvements for controls and efficiency.
  • Proficient in analysing management information, generating actionable insights, and developing improvement reports.
  • Resilient, proactive, and adaptable, capable of adjusting scope to meet evolving programme needs.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
