The AXA Commercial Portfolio Team are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team to support a key strategic delivery. We are investing in technology and data to transform our business and improve the way we manage Commercial Insurance. We are seeking a talented individual to implement technology changes, drive improvements to data and reporting, and support associated business change. Our Commercial Strategy, Portfolio and Transformation team is accountable for the efficient and effective delivery of change across our whole business. Programme delivery covers large, strategically significant change and involves interaction across a wide group of stakeholders. We use agile methods to achieve the best possible outcomes.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You will work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We are also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you will be doing:

  • Document "as is" and "to be" process and describe the changes required to migrate to the "to be" capability to record accurately the change required.
  • Produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats.
  • Contribute to and support feasibility studies from a technological and organisational perspective, and document findings.
  • Manage the identification, elicitation of project and/or department-level process requirements, conducting analysis of those requirements for accuracy and alignment to the department.
  • Identify and evaluate risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the project, escalating where appropriate.
  • Review existing operations in own area of work and implement innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure continuous improvements are delivered.
  • Organise and prepare complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices such as standard office software.

What you will bring:

  • Capable of utilising the most efficient and effective ways to get things done while holding themselves and others accountable, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Experience with legacy systems or migration, moving to a more strategic offering.
  • Skilled at communicating effectively with diverse audiences by considering their input and perspectives, while building strong customer relationships and adjusting solutions to meet their needs.
  • Providing technical guidance on analysing data trends, business requirements, planning activities, and managing data to support decision-making and achieve business goals.
  • Experience in end user computing is beneficial.
  • Understanding of business context, needs, rules, and architecture, as well as organisational structure, cultures, capabilities, and processes to document the current state of processes and the business.
