Assistant Claims Manager – Motor – Personal Injury
As an Assistant Claims Manager, you will be responsible for managing a small claims team within the motor claims department and supporting the Motor Claims Manager in daily operations, including workload management and stakeholder engagement related to the Motor Claims portfolio. You will proactively manage a claims caseload, provide guidance and development for your team, and exemplify technical expertise and audit standards.
Collaboration is key. You will work with Claims Leadership, AXA Group Management, Claims Handlers, Underwriters, Actuaries, Legal, CDAG, and other departments to deliver excellent customer service and continuous improvement, aligning with company philosophy.
The role involves managing a team of Personal Injury Claim Handlers, overseeing complex claims, guiding team development, managing partner relationships, and ensuring compliance and quality standards. You will also be involved in strategic relationships with brokers, clients, and underwriters, and contribute to process improvements, reporting, and customer service excellence.
You will report to the Motor Claims Manager and need skills such as experience in motor injury claims, legal knowledge, project management, leadership, and communication skills. A degree or ACII qualification is desirable but not essential.
