Job PurposeAs a Local Security Expert, your main objective is to work closely with the Local Operations Security team, assisting with daily security activities across several Cyber Defense products, supporting the implementation of security measures and GO Cyber Defense products across the local entity(ies). Under supervision, you will contribute to maintaining information security standards and gaining practical experience in security operations.

Responsibilities

Assist in operating and maintaining vulnerability management scanning tools.

Support the team in identifying vulnerabilities and tracking remediation actions.

Help evaluate security threats, risks, and vulnerabilities by following established procedures.

Provide support in advising on vulnerability remediation and security hardening measures.

Assist in defining system security standards and supporting their implementation.

Conduct password strength checks and assist with security assessments for projects and applications.

Communicate security policies and procedures clearly to team members and other stakeholders.

Support documentation and reporting related to security activities.

Expected Skills & ExperienceExperience

Interest or experience in technical security, systems, network, or application security is a plus.

Basic understanding of information security concepts and practices.

Technical Skills

A degree in computer science, information security, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Eagerness to learn about security standards such as ISO/IEC 27017, CISSP, CEH, or similar.

Soft Skills / Transversal Skills

Strong problem-solving attitude and willingness to develop technical skills.

Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Organized, proactive, and eager to take on new challenges.

Fluent in English.
