AXA Partners is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Senior Finance Analyst to join our dynamic Technical Accounting team in Redhill. This is your chance to be part of a supportive environment where your insights and analysis will make a real impact on our business.
What You'll Do:
- Leading the monthly production of balance sheet and profit & loss accounts
- Supporting the analytical review of accounts to provide valuable insights
- Producing accruals, pre-payments, and relevant audit lead schedules
- Preparing technical P&L reports by business line, including reinsurance
- Overseeing quarterly reporting and Solvency II reporting for regulatory compliance
- Submitting reports to the group via AXA’s consolidation system
- Ensuring on-time and accurate submission of QRT schedules to the Prudential Regulatory Authority
- Acting as a key contact for internal and external audits
- Producing Internal Control Reporting and conducting Internal Control Testing on financial processes
- Collaborating with the Risk and Internal Control department to enhance reporting accuracy
- Creating management information packs to support senior management decision-making
- Preparing budgets and rolling forecasts while performing variance analysis
- Managing balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
Your Profile:
- Experienced in the insurance sector, with a strong understanding of financial reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze large datasets effectively
- An excellent analytical thinker with a keen attention to detail
- A proactive communicator who can collaborate with various teams and stakeholders
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience
- A willingness to learn and grow within the finance field
- A commitment to integrity and customer-centric values.
