About the role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Claims Administrator to join our team.
You will provide essential administrative support to our Cash Collection team, enabling the business to meet its pledge and cash collection targets through accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration.
The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
You will be required to attend the Fort Dunlop office for a minimum of two days per week.
- What you’ll be doing
- act as the central point of distribution for incoming emails to the department
- push for commitment from third party insurer for payment and ensuring any disputes are highlighted to the settlement handler/ team immediately if they cannot be resolved as Claims Administrator.
- establish dispute of non -payment delays, investigating and resolving where able to do so
- efficiently manage outbound calls to clients for losses reimbursement.
- update the Back Office system with accurate, clear records of discussions, next steps and time frames
- ensure the Back Office system is updated in line with all protocols
- reinforce payment criteria set out by ABI to drive performance
- achieve objectives and targets set
- carry out reasonable tasks as requested by your Line Manager.
- What you’ll bring
- desirable skills would be knowledge of ABI guidelines and GTA (General Terms of Agreement) protocols
- preferably but not essential demonstrable administration experience within a fast-paced office environment
- good written communication skills with the proven ability to capture a clear logical summary of situations
- effective time management skills including organisation of self and workload
- competent with using MS Office; Word, Excel and Power Point
- an ability to prioritise, recognising importance and urgency and working to tight deadlines
- detail conscious
- flexible attitude and approach with the ability to work on own initiative
- adaptable, tenacious self-starter who is results orientated
