The project!:
As a Garment Technician you will work alongside the Technical Manager during fit meetings and sample inspection. You will assist with fit comments & note taking, update specs, send specifications and comments to suppliers and liaise with suppliers with technical issues.
What will the role entail?
- Assist with the inspection of the construction at all stages of samples & ensure that they are to the Hackett international standards, and if not advise suppliers accordingly.
- Assist with maintaining the Hackett standard across all suppliers.
- Liaise with all manufacturers and advise them on any fit issues.
- Assist with recording/approving specifications.
- Ensure technical folders are up to date with correct grade rules/labelling and fit.
- Assist with customer returns.
- Update critical path after fit session and ensure that comments are send on time.
- Approve wash/care/content labels and advise suppliers and review test reports.
- Assist with approval of bulk inspection reports

Requirements
- University degree in Tailoring / Garment Technician.
- Adavanced english level.
- Experience working with premium menswear brands in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience within a garment tech role.
- Pattern making
- Creating size specifications and grading
- Garment construction knowledge.
- Works well under pressure/to deadlines.
- Ability to communicate with UK and off shore manufacturers.
