Job Description: As a Project Manager for Web and Mobile Apps Development at AWTG, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of web and mobile application projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, QA, and product owners to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Understand the technical aspects of web and mobile application development.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure technical requirements are met.
- Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making processes to resolve issues and ensure project success.
- Implement and manage Agile methodologies to enhance project efficiency and team collaboration.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team by encouraging feedback and implementing process enhancements.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs, priorities, and expectations.
- Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure their feedback is incorporated into the project.
- Ensure ongoing support and maintenance of web and mobile applications post-launch.
- Coordinate with support teams to address and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including user manuals, release notes, and training materials.
Technical Skills:
- Agile and Scrum:
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
- Proficiency in using Agile project management tools, particularly Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence).
- Solid understanding of web and mobile app development technologies and frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) to streamline the development and deployment process is a plus.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and branching strategies is a plus.
- Experience coordinating post-launch support and maintenance activities.
- Ability to manage and prioritize support requests and bug fixes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in web and mobile application development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Certification in Agile (CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP) or Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence).
- Experience with user-centered design principles and working with UX/UI teams.
- Ability to create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.
- Strong facilitation skills and the ability to lead productive meetings and workshops.
Salary: Rate negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
