Responsibilities
- Full accounting and financial management.
- Lead corporate financial management and reporting.
- Preparation of timely management reports, forecast, cashflow, audit preparation.
- Manage project financial control and reporting.
- Operational finance management and control.
- Manage and develop and constantly improve financial controller processes, policies and best practices to strengthen internal controls.
- Manage transactions and supervise transaction execution.
- Manage time and cost reporting for projects and staff.
- Ensure all transactions are recorded and reported properly.
- Review and signoff tender and proposal budgets.
- Manage R&D claims and funded projects claims processes and reporting.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and filing.
- Prepare cash flow reports, forecast reports and financial statements.
- Create and present various business insights and analytics from financial performance to business cases and business models.
- Develop strong collaborative working relationships with business unit leads and managers.
- Prepare adhoc reporting, insights and analytics for management and business units.
- Additional controller duties as necessary.
Skills
- Financial controller / Finance manager experience.
- Experience with creating financial statements, planning & organising.
- Expertise in P&L and Cash Flow management.
- Expertise in financial performance, business management and financial processes.
- Good communication skills at all levels.
- Excellent problem analysis & problem-solving skills.
- Excellent skills in MS Excel and Power BI.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Good presentation skills.
Minimum requirement
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with higher degree in accounting and finance.
- Proven experience (at least 5 years) as a Financial Manager/Finance Controller in fast growing sector.
- Proven ability of working under pressure.
- Good understanding on revenue recognition and forecast cost.
- Strong IT skills, Advance Excel – Pivot Tables, Power BI, Power Query, Lookups.
- Knowledge of Quick Books and other accounting systems.
- Knowledge of accounting and reporting automation.
- High drive to succeed and demonstrate innovative initiatives.
- Advanced knowledge in using Excel for reporting and automation.
- Master’s degree in business administration and management is an advantage.
- Knowledge of using Jira is a plus.
