AWS is one of the fastest-growing businesses within Amazon, providing companies, governments, and individuals with a broad portfolio of services and innovative technology, including artificial intelligence. The EMEA Independent Software Vendor (ISV) segment represents approximately 20% of EMEA revenue — and we're looking for a Finance Manager to help shape its trajectory. This is a business partnering role at its core. You'll sit within a dynamic finance team, working directly alongside the EMEA ISV Director and their leadership to turn complex data into clear, actionable insight. You'll combine financial rigor with commercial judgement to influence strategy, guide investment decisions, and drive operational improvements. This is a role where financial insight directly shapes commercial outcomes.

At Amazon, we believe that in-person collaboration is essential to our culture and innovation. While we allow flexibility for personal circumstances, we generally expect employees to work from our offices five days a week. This approach has consistently shown that spontaneous interactions, rapid problem-solving, and the energy of in-person teamwork lead to better results for our customers. In particular, our data shows that teams working together in person are more effective at making complex decisions, onboarding new team members, and fostering the kind of creative collaboration that has driven Amazon's success. The serendipitous hallway conversations and impromptu whiteboarding sessions that happen naturally in an office environment have proven invaluable to our invention process and maintaining our high bar for excellence.

Key job responsibilities:
  • Own the reporting framework for key performance metrics and craft narratives that give business leaders a clear view of performance and opportunity.
  • Act as a strategic finance partner on major business initiatives and investment cases, providing the financial lens that shapes decision-making.
  • Design and implement new processes and tools in collaboration with business teams, while continuously improving what already exists.
  • Deliver financial summaries and business insights to senior leadership, translating numbers into stories that drive action.
  • Lead short- and long-term financial planning cycles, balancing precision with pragmatism.
  • Strengthen internal controls to ensure financial integrity as the business scales.
  • Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
  • Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
  • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.
  • Demonstrable experience working in finance business partner or FP&A role, ideally in similar size organisation.
  • MBA, or CPA.
  • Knowledge of SQL/ETL.
