We are seeking a motivated and creative Events Fundraising Officer to deliver a dynamic programme of fundraising events across Scotland. This role is key to generating significant income, building strong supporter relationships, and enhancing the organisation’s public profile.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate a portfolio of fundraising events to meet income targets.
- Develop and implement event plans, budgets, and timelines.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, sponsors, donors, and volunteers.
- Lead and support volunteers and event teams to deliver high-quality events.
- Manage event promotion, working closely with marketing teams on campaigns and social media.
- Oversee event administration, including CRM/database management, reporting, and donor stewardship.
- Identify new fundraising opportunities and contribute to innovation within the events programme.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and best practice.
About You
- Experience in events, fundraising, or project management.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confident working independently and as part of a team.
- Creative, proactive, and results-driven.
- IT literate, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
Desirable
- Experience in fundraising or charity sector.
- Knowledge of fundraising regulations and compliance.
- Experience working with volunteers and corporate partnerships.
