The Role
As a trusted advisor, you’ll help customers maximize value from cloud technology. You’ll develop strategies to promote AWS adoption, covering products like EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, IoT, and more. You’ll work with startups and large enterprises, providing architecture advice, support strategies, and operational guidance.
You’ll have opportunities to develop technical, consultative, and leadership skills, work with talented technologists, and gain AWS certifications. We seek individuals passionate about transforming businesses through cloud computing.
Key job responsibilities
- Build solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for customers
- Maintain operational health of AWS environments while optimizing costs
- Develop trusting relationships, understanding business and technical needs
- Lead technical discussions on incidents, trade-offs, and risk management
- Consult with developers to C-suite executives
- Collaborate with AWS teams including Solutions Architects and Sales
- Proactively identify opportunities for customer value enhancement
- Review service disruptions, metrics, and launch plans
- Assist customers migrating workloads to cloud
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to uplift customer capabilities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in technical engineering
- Bachelor\’s degree
- Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting in distributed systems environments (compute, storage, networking, CDN, databases, DevOps, big data, security, applications)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Scripting and coding skills in Ruby, C/C++/C#, Node.js, Java, Python, PHP
- Experience in customer-facing presentations covering technical and business aspects
