Are you looking to make an impact and help shape the user experience for our customers across the globe? We are seeking a Product Design Manager to join Awin in our mission to help customers grow their business online. This role is a critical leadership position, working closely with the Head of UX. You will be responsible for recruitment, influencing change, driving process improvements, and managing a team of designers.

What you will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing a team of designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
- Driving positive change within design processes, advocating for user-centric design practices and ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Working towards growing the overall design maturity of the organisation by implementing best practices, design systems, and methodologies that elevate the quality of design work.
- Collaborating with the Head of UX in developing and executing strategic initiatives to advance the UX vision and overall business objectives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to prioritise design initiatives based on business impact and customer value and ensuring efficient allocation of design resources.
- Identifying opportunities to optimise design processes, improve efficiency, and establish best-in-class design workflows.
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment of design goals with broader business objectives.
Your skills:
- Proven track record in product design, with a deep understanding of UX and UI principles.
- Adept at leading and inspiring a team of designers.
- Experience in hiring, mentoring, and managing designers to foster a collaborative and high-performing design culture.
- Ability to influence and drive change within design processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise initiatives effectively, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality design work.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, executives, and stakeholders.
- Excellent ability to communicate design vision effectively to gain buy-in.
- Proven ability to move work forward, meet deadlines, and deliver exceptional design solutions that contribute to the success of the business.
