Are you looking to drive the future of product design and shape meaningful, data-driven experiences for customers across the globe? We’re seeking a Lead Product Designer to set direction, raise quality, and lead the design of complex, insight-rich product areas within Awin. You’ll take a leadership role within the UX team, responsible for defining vision, elevating standards, and empowering designers to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions. Working closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams, you’ll ensure complex data models and analytics capabilities are translated into intuitive, actionable user experiences.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Driving human-centred design across multiple product areas, including data-intensive and analytics-led experiences
- Shaping product vision and strategy in collaboration with cross‑functional leadership, identifying opportunities to improve end-to-end journeys
- Translating complex data models and technical structures into clear, usable interfaces, dashboards, and visualisations
- Defining best practices for data visualisation, filtering, reporting, and insight communication
- Leading strategic discovery and design workshops to align teams around problems, opportunities, and measurable outcomes
- Directing the creation of high-quality design outputs - journeys, wireframes, prototypes, high‑fidelity designs - with a strong focus on usability and impact
- Setting design quality standards and fostering a culture of critique and continuous improvement across the design team
- Mentoring a team of Product Designers: providing feedback, coaching and improving design maturity
- Partnering with Engineering and Product to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of design solutions
- Driving adoption and evolution of our design system, ensuring scalable and consistent design across products
- Communicating design rationale and decisions clearly through storytelling and stakeholder engagement
- Advocating for design thinking and user research practices throughout the organisation
Your Skills:
- Significant experience as a Senior or Lead Product Designer with a strong portfolio of strategic and hands‑on design work
- Proven leadership experience: setting direction and mentoring designers
- Deep understanding of human-centred design, UX best practices, and interaction design principles
- Strong experience designing data-rich products, including dashboards, analytics platforms, or reporting tools, including UI design of data visualisation components
- Ability to interpret and challenge complex data models, working effectively with data engineers and analysts
- Strong grasp of data visualisation principles and best practices for communicating insight clearly and accurately
- Strategic thinker with the ability to zoom out to the big picture, while also diving into the detail when needed
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working closely with product managers, engineers, data specialists, researchers, and content designers
- Comfortable facilitating workshops, design critiques, and stakeholder sessions to drive alignment and action
- Fluent in design tools (e.g. Figma) and experienced in working within agile product environments
- Passion for coaching and enabling others to do their best work in a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture
