Purpose of Position

UK Global Account Management is seeking a Global Team Leader to support some of the department's leading accounts. As a Global Team Leader, you’ll take ownership of key global accounts based in the UK. This high-profile, fast-paced role requires confidence, resilience and strong prioritisation skills. You’ll be at the centre of our most important and high-performing accounts, driving performance, leading teams and navigating complex challenges with impact.

Key Logistics

  • This is a hybrid role: at least 2 days per week in the office.
  • FTC role from around August 2026 to late September 2027.

Key Tasks

  • Ensure clients are satisfied with service, team and account management, ensuring the team are closely aligned with brand objectives and exceeding expectation.
  • Lead on global strategy roadmaps across client set, ensuring team members deliver against objective.
  • Serve as senior escalation point for clients.
  • Ensure the team provides a best-in-class global service, ensuring SLA is met across all regions.
  • Collaborate with Global Account Director to maximise client GP through tech and innovation.
  • Lead senior strategic meetings with client set, presenting to senior stakeholders to demonstrate the effectiveness of the affiliate channel.
  • Ensure best-in-class processes are in place across client set.
  • Ensure sufficient company communication regarding all clients within your team.
  • Take overall responsibility for team members and their performance.
  • Take responsibility for the development of team members.
  • Ensure the free-flow of communication within the team.
  • Ensure an appropriate working environment for team members.
  • Provide a point of escalation for team members.
  • Help nurture a dynamic team environment.
  • Ensure good account-management practices are delivered effectively by team members at all times.
  • Provide feedback to Global Account Director on the effectiveness of the team, the performance of members and the quality of service.
  • Show willingness to develop ideas that can help the team grow and fulfil its goals.
  • Show leadership ability to take responsibility for other members on a day-to-day basis.

Skills & Expertise

  • Over 2 years of account management experience in affiliate marketing, focusing on blue-chip clients.
  • High level of industry knowledge and a developed presence within the affiliate community.
  • Experience coordinating teams in projects and working practices.
  • Excellent communication and client-relationship skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Awin systems and how they serve client needs.
  • Optimise large campaigns and demonstrate excellent account-management skills.
  • Strong affiliate-marketing knowledge to present varied options for brand clients in campaign structures.
  • Good understanding of network ethos and help the team manage accounts accordingly.
  • Understanding of Awin’s USPs and how our customer services position us versus competitors.
  • Leadership approach in dealing with Account Managers and junior team members.
  • Experience across verticals such as fashion, travel, telecoms.
