We’re seeking a Lead Product Designer to set direction, raise quality, and lead the design of complex, insight-rich product areas within Awin. You’ll take a leadership role within the UX team, responsible for defining vision, elevating standards, and empowering designers to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions. • Shaping product vision and strategy in collaboration with cross-functional leadership, identifying opportunities to improve end-to-end journeys
  • Translating complex data models and technical structures into clear, usable interfaces, dashboards, and visualisations
  • Defining best practices for data visualisation, filtering, reporting, and insight communication
  • Leading strategic discovery and design workshops to align teams around problems, opportunities, and measurable outcomes
  • Directing the creation of high-quality design outputs – journeys, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs – with a strong focus on usability and impact
  • Setting design quality standards and fostering a culture of critique and continuous improvement across the design team
  • Mentoring a team of Product Designers: providing feedback, coaching and improving design maturity
  • Partnering with Engineering and Product to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of design solutions
  • Driving adoption and evolution of our design system, ensuring scalable and consistent design across products
  • Communicating design rationale and decisions clearly through storytelling and stakeholder engagement
  • Advocating for design thinking and user research practices throughout the organisation

Your Skills

  • Significant experience as a Senior or Lead Product Designer with a strong portfolio of strategic and hands‑on design work
  • Deep understanding of human-centred design, UX best practices, and interaction design principles
  • Strong experience designing data-rich products, including dashboards, analytics platforms, or reporting tools, including UI design of data visualisation components
  • Ability to interpret and challenge complex data models, working effectively with data engineers and analysts
  • Strong grasp of data visualisation principles and best practices for communicating insight clearly and accurately
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to zoom out to the big picture, while also diving into the detail when needed
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working closely with product managers, engineers, data specialists, researchers, and content designers
  • Comfortable facilitating workshops, design critiques, and stakeholder sessions to drive alignment and action
  • Fluent in design tools (e.g. Figma) and experienced in working within agile product environments
