Purpose of Position

UK Global Account Management is seeking a Global Team Leader to support departments leading accounts. As a Global Team Leader you’ll take ownership of key global accounts based in the UK, leading teams, navigating complex challenges, and driving performance. Hybrid role: at least 2 days per week in office; Contract (FTC) from August 2026 to late September 2027.

Key Tasks

  • Ensure client satisfaction and team alignment with brand objectives.
  • Lead on global strategy roadmaps and deliver against objectives.
  • Act as senior escalation point for clients.
  • Maintain best‑in‑class service and meet SLA across all regions.
  • Collaborate with Global Account Director to maximise client GP through technology and innovation.
  • Lead senior strategic meetings and present to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure best practices and effective processes across the client set.
  • Maintain adequate company communication regarding all clients within your team.
  • Hold overall responsibility for team member performance and development.
  • Facilitate free‑flow communication within the team.
  • Provide a point of escalation for team members.
  • Nurture a dynamic team environment and promote good account management practices.
  • Provide feedback to the Global Account Director on team effectiveness and service quality.
  • Show willingness to develop ideas that help the team grow and fulfil its goals.

Skills & Expertise

  • 2+ years of account management experience in affiliate marketing, focusing on blue‑chip clients.
  • Deep industry knowledge and a strong presence within the affiliate community.
  • Experience coordinating teams in projects and working practices.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Awin systems and how to use them to serve client needs.
  • Demonstrated account management skills, including optimisation of large campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of affiliate marketing to present varied options for brand clients.
  • Understanding of network ethos and Awin USPs, positioning our services against competitors.
  • Leadership approach when dealing with Account Managers and junior team members.
  • Relevant experience across verticals such as fashion, travel, telecoms.
