We are seeking reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers for ongoing logistics and trunking operations based in Cambridge. Situated with easy access via the A14 and M11 corridors, this role offers competitive hourly rates, predictable schedules, and steady long-term opportunities with temp-to-perm prospects for dedicated drivers.
Key Details & Responsibilities:

Hours: 45 – 50 hours per week (Variable shift patterns available)

Safe and efficient driving across local, regional, and national routes

Conducting essential daily vehicle defect checks and handling delivery paperwork accurately

Securing loads safely and adhering strictly to EU Drivers' Hours and Tachograph regulations

Requirements

Licence & Cards: Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence, CPC qualification card, and Digital Tachograph card

Experience: Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience preferred (no major endorsements, maximum 6 points)

Professional Attitude: High attention to safety, route planning, punctuality, and vehicle care
