Cell therapies have been shown to cure devastating and previously untreatable diseases like cancer by re-programming the patient's own immune system. Giving more patients access to these life-saving therapies requires a revolution in manufacturing and process automation.
Cellular Origins, a TTP company, is enabling scalable, cost-effective and efficient manufacture of cell and gene therapies. Our technology addresses the challenges associated with manufacturing at scale with an elegant robotic manufacturing automation solution that reduces cost and labour, eliminates human error, and increases efficiency.
As an Integration Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of product delivery, playing a pivotal role in the development of our robotic automated manufacturing system for cell therapy manufacturing. You’ll be responsible for bringing together hardware and software subsystems to enable the seamless integration of the Constellation system at every stage of the development process.
This is an opportunity to work within the multi-disciplinary product team to shape the development of our technology. You’ll be involved with hands-on hardware and software integration, software development, testing and experimental work to ensure compatibility between Constellation sub-systems. You’ll play a pivotal role in the transfer from product development to product verification activities by informing sub-system design and steering our processes towards delivering a reliable and robust system.

Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Physics or a related discipline with industry experience
- Proven experience of integrating and troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems, preferably within a product development environment
- Robust technical analysis and technical documentation skills including generating experiment protocols, processing results and reporting findings
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams and fast-paced environments
- Proficient in at least one modern software language such as Python, Java, C# or C++
- Proficient in software development for hardware focused applications
- Proficient at identifying issues, root cause analysis, and providing feedback to the design teams
This role will be a full time, on-site position at our campus in Melbourn.
Familiar with:- Industrial, networked communication protocols such as MQTT
- Robotic hardware and prototyping software such as ROS1/2
- Computer aided design software such as SolidWorks
- Electronics design and embedded software development
- Software system virtualisation and containerisation
- Highly proficient in Python including object-oriented programming and design patterns
